This blog is primarily my personal training and racing journal, and highlights of my kids activities. Not many opinions offered or politics discussed. Just riding and racing in the MN/WI area.
Next post I want to see him riding no handed. I remember the first time I tried riding rollers no handed...from what I've heard I hit the floor pretty hard.
Jimmer & Carla, I'm not sure if your encouragement helped or hindered! I was waiting for a Bagley-esque turtle move (Bagley on his back, rubber side up, wheels still spinning).
Here's a tip for learning to watch TV while on rollers.... Build up a lil rumble strip w/ and inch of tape on the edge of the rollers so, when you get close, it feels like a rumble strip. It works! No hands is a piece of cake!
Bravo!!! Jordo, you are NOT a poser!!! Good thing Carla wasn't around my first time on the rollers, it was a lot messier!
ReplyDeleteThe kid is growing before my eyes, time to raise the seat up.
ReplyDeleteI just love Carla in the background. Good job, Master Cullen. I'll see ya some time this winter on one of the 318 coffee stops.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which of the 3 of you was more funny.

ReplyDeleteI Was waiting for Gulliver to come running in and knock him over. Glad he was outside securing the homefront:)

I like the rumble strip idea. Was watching tdf video today and veered left with the rest of the riders...right off my rollers. Thanks for the tip!
