We finally got Treb to join us on a Sunday ride. He actually rode Saturday with us too. Needless to say, he is a bit sore.
Painman left home at 7AM to meet us in Minneapolis, so he could get home by 11AM. We met up with Jens and later A-train for a relatively treacherous ride on the trails. There were patchy spots of ice. Painman went down twice on the way in, and Jens went down too. Pretty good considering. Both Treb and I managed to go down on Saturday, and were a little sore from those crashes.
We saw Timmer and Pletcher on Cedar Lake on the Loppet course. It was pretty cool to see the racers coming in as we rolled down the greenway at about 12:30PM. I finally got to the car wash and cleaned up our bikes. They really needed it.

Prolly not the smartest bunch of 35+-ers. I told Pain-knucklehead-man to find a road route.
Trail was dangerous. You guys need to smarten up and not get yourself hurt before race season. ;)
What about that comment about going long? I got 2 more miles than you. :)
The worst part of the trail was from Deephaven to Excelsior. We avoided those sections. We also avoided the section through Hopkins. Otherwise, it was just patches of ice. Studs made a tremendous difference.
Jimmer, you have to try this in bad conditions.

2000 feet of climbing in 3 hours, not flat in Duluth!
