Broke off during my Opus Crit warm-up. Just standing up, pedaling after a stop sign. Barely kept it upright, thinking I had simply pulled out of my pedal. Jordan yells, "You busted your crank arm off!".
I've broke a lot of stuff, but this definitely tops it all.

Were you in a crash in Hopkins last year? If so was that crank involved?
That is crazy to be breaking those.
It is the crank from the bike that crashed, but it's been ridden 4000miles since then, with plenty of sprinting. Didn't show any signs of issues, until is broke off.
Sounds like you're lucky to have gotten an extra 4000mi and no serious injury/death out of the crank post initial crash?
