Maren doubled up tonight at a home track meet in Hudson. First she ran the mile. She ran a personal best 6:28, passing 2 runners in the final stretch to finish 5th. Nice kick girl! She finished off the night as leg 2 of the winning 4x400m relay team from Hudson.
This past Saturday, she did a rare steeple chase, but had an asthma attack heading into one of the jumps, and stumbled into the barrier. The crowd let out a gasp when she went down. She was unable to continue. She learned her lesson the hard way about using her inhaler prior to racing.
